CANTABRIAN MYTHOLOGHY

THE CULEBRE • The culebre is a misterious dragon. The legends place this creature in a cave in the cliffs of San Vicente de la Barquera. It has got one head and a very big mouth with terrible teeth and it throws fire out of it. Its eyes have got the colour of the fire. Its body is covered with scales and it has got little wings, but it can fly very well.

THE TRENTI The trenti is an elf of the cantabrian mitologhy. It is covered with leaves, moss and rotts. His head is black and his eyes are green. It has got a very joker and intelligent behaviour. It likes to hide in trees and bushes to surprise the girls in the woods. It sleeps in trees in summer, but in the other seasons it sleeps in caves and other places.
