Halloween
Halloween is the evening of October 31.
Children cut faces in pumpkins and put a candle inside them.
Children dress up in witch or ghost costumes.
They go round the houses,
knock on the doors and ask “Trick or treat?“
The people in the houses give them a “treat” – usually sweets, money or biscuits
or the children play a trick on them.
