Romanian Soldiers In Afganistan

The life of the Romanian Soldiers from the 151 “Black Wolves” regiment on the Battlefield in the desert

Leaving their families was probably the most painful thing during the six months they spend fighting in the desert.

Their strong belief in God helped during the war .The Romanian soldiers were known as good Christians.

And that was not all they believed in … “Take care of the T.A.B. look after it as if it were a child … Because it will protect you as a parent does!” These are the words of a Romanian soldier.

The Romanian flag was highly praised as well .

The Romanian soldiers adapted rapidly to becoming “The warriors”. They started participating to the Freedom Operation, witch involves great danger. But they all were aware of the risks.

During the six months they spent in Afghanistan and Iraq there were funny moments, too .This is one of them: a car “Made in Romania”

They participated to all actions of all the forces involved . They exchanged weapons for a few hours.

Some of them even spent their holidays far from home

And because they were good and brave, Santa Claus came.

The soldiers from Iasi even had some problems.

At a closer look, the problem seems pretty serious …

But …

With a lot of effort …

They made it !!!

And these are the proves .

Those Who suffer the most from this war are the children.

This is just a pictures but the war is real.

Preparing to leave .

But first, they went to Church to thank God and prey for a safe return to home

With all things taken care of, they are ready for the plane .

Coming from 40°C to Romania where it is winter(-10°).Their first stop is in Bacau, before they finally arrive to Iasi .

After six months the Romanian Soldiers finish the “travel” .
