Dear Students: Grade 6 and 8 will begin MAP Testing this week. Be sure to stay calm, do your best and follow these reminders: •

Ensure that you know the number of the computer you will be allocated in the lab. This computer number will be different for the Math Test and the Reading/Language Tests. Your Math and English teachers have a copy of the lists of computer numbers.



Remember to bring a book to read when you have finished the testing.



Remember to go to the restroom and get a drink prior to test time.

Congratulations to both the Academic Bowl Team and the AMIS Band Delegates. Good luck representing ISM at these future events! The 2nd Season Practice Schedule has been released. Please check the schedule so you can arrive on time and be ready to participate. Be responsible and communicate with your coaches any conflicts of schedule. Enjoy the week! FROM THE STUDENT COUNCIL Dear Fellow Students Student Council will be having a Leadership Training on Friday afternoon. We would like to know if you have any questions, recommendations or ideas you would like for us to discuss during the meeting. If so, there will be a suggestion box in the MS Guidance Office. The box is not only for this meeting on Friday, it will be from now on and will be checked every week. Don’t be shy… give us your suggestions so that we can work to make the school a better place. -The Student Council

MIDDLE SCHOOL ACADEMIC BOWL 2009-2010 Thank you to everyone who came and tried out for the Middle School Academic Bowl Teams. We had an amazing response. ATAC Announcements 2nd SEASON: Tryouts have now finished for HS and MS 2nd season teams. Please consult the 2nd practice schedule that is posted on notice boards and in this bulletin for your teams regular practice schedule. Thanks to all students who tried out for teams this season. Please consult the game schedule on ATAC website and divisional websites pages for all the up to date match schedules/venues/ times. This schedule changes frequently so please consult it regularly for updates during the season. Thanks to all the MS students who turned out for tryouts this past week. We have had excellent numbers for basketball, touch, boys rugby, boys tennis. We are still seeking any interested girls to tryout for the MS girls tennis team as numbers this week for tryouts have been low. If you are a keen tennis player please check the tennis schedule and come up to the courts next week to talk with Coach Bobby about joining the MS Girls Tennis Team.
