Please donate your glossy magazines to PCF! WHY? Glossy Magazines cannot be pulped and recycled like regular clean paper here in Manila so if you don’t ensure that they’re made into something else… they just end up in a land fill. WHAT does PCF do with them? Parents of the school children are employed to make beads out of them which, in turn, get made into jewellery and bags. HOW does this help families? The money from the products generates income for them so that they can afford to buy food and clothes for their children. WHERE? Collection boxes can be found in ES, MS and HS offices
Thank you for your support! "Dream the world you want and deserve to live in. Write it down. Communicate your vision passionately, as if your life depended upon it!" (Randy Hayes, Founder of Rainforest Action Network) www.ism-online.org/gogreen/

From the Communications Department: THANK YOU to the ISM Community of parents, students, teachers and staff for supporting our student-led relief efforts for the victims of typhoon Ondoy: ISM Students raised a total of Php 406,936.35 --- THANKS TO YOU!! On Friday, October 2, ISM HS Students held an amazing concert to benefit the victims of typhoon Ondoy. Clubs and Councils like PCC, KCC, ACC, ECO, BTV, BTO rallied together to set-up booths and food stations. Thank you to MCDonald’s, Andoks and Hungry Tykes for providing food and ice-cream. Our very own PTA donated Php 60,000 to the cause. “We went from complaining about school not being canceled, with the desire to make a difference, to seeing these visions come to reality. 400,000 pesos is a success, and then some! WE cannot thank YOU enough. Words cannot express what an honor it is to call ourselves BEARCATS right now.” - Antonio Villalon
