Designed by Marilyn Coleman. Directions are for Small/Medium; changes for Medium/ Large are in parentheses. TLC® "Essentials™": 4 (41/4) Ounces No. 2675 CA, 3 (31/4) ounces No. 2958 Falling Leaves CB, and 33/4 (4) ounces No. 2919 Barn Red CC.

CC, CA, and CB until 17 (171/2)" from beg. Mark each end of last row. Continue in pat and color sequence until approximately 251/2 (263/4)" from beg, end by working Row 5. Last Row: Ch 3, skip first st, * dc in next dc, hdc in next 2 dc, sc in ch-2 sp, hdc in next 2 dc, dc in next dc **, dc dec; rep from * to last st, end at **; dc in last st. Fasten off leaving a long end for sewing.

Crochet Hook: 5.5mm [US I-9]. Split stitch markers; yarn needle.

FINISHING: Sew back seam. Sew sleeve seams to markers.

GAUGE: One repeat = 2 3/4" across; 8 rows = 4" in pat. CHECK YOUR GAUGE. Use any size hook to obtain the gauge.

Body Edging: With right side facing, join CA at a seam; ch 1, sc evenly around entire body opening, taking care to keep work flat; join with a sl st to first sc. Fasten off.

SPECIAL ABBREVIATIONS: Sc dec = draw up a lp in each of next 2 sts, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook. Dc dec = [yo and draw up a lp in next st, yo and draw through 2 lps] twice, yo and draw through all 3 lps on hook.
