Day 5 – Motion Picture English

Summer Camp 2006

 Students will be able to recognize some words and sentences about daily phrases.  Students will understand some slang words and their meanings.  Students will form their own English ideas regarding motion picture events.

 Students will discuss about certain unknown expressions from the movie. Various vocabulary words, phrases and sentences from the motion picture event.

Explain title of the movie to students.

Have students get a piece of paper and a pencil

Watch School of Rock with English subtitles.



During the movie, students write down some difficult words and phrases.



(note: there is no scheduled break time, so students just ask to go to the bathroom when necessary)

After movie is finished, students form a circle.



Ask students questions about the movie.



Discussion about the movie and any questions.


