Lebanon Road Report May 31, 2009 Our attendance picked back up a bit yesterday. We still didn’t get to 380, but we were back to 334, and that’s headed the right direction. JD preached yesterday morning on “Having the Mind of a Child,” and did an excellent job! He reminded us of the innocence of children and how we need to have that innocence and other attributes. Last night, we had an abbreviated service. I presented a lesson geared toward our graduates entitled “Dealing with Transition,” based upon Romans 12:12. Following our services, we honored our six graduating seniors. Mike Markwood put together a video featuring pictures and interviews with their parents. The hour-long video was so much fun to watch. Finally, we had a meal and the church presented each of our graduates with an ESV Journaling Bible and a special pen to take notes. Here are some pictures of the evening:

Beyond That… June 14-17: VBS (AD 33 Tours)—have you invited others?
We now turn our attention to our Vacation Bible school, which is less than 2 weeks away. Plans are well underway, and everyone is working hard to make it a success. We hope you’ll be with us June 14-17 for a great VBS. We’ll mention our adult speakers next week in the Lebanon Road Report, but just know they are excellent! And we hope you’ll be with us this next Sunday as we worship God together. You’ll be glad you came!
