Eligibility • • •

Ages Eligible for Study: 25 Years to 80 Years Genders Eligible for Study: Both Accepts Healthy Volunteers: No

Criteria Inclusion criteria: •

Newly diagnosed type 2 Diabetes



Baseline glycosylated hemoglobin level ≥ 7.0 %1,2



Preprandial blood glucose ≥ 6.0 m.mol/L and 2 hr post prandial glucose ≥8.0 m.mol/L3

Exclusion criteria: •

Pregnancy or nursing mother



Diagnosis of psychotic disorder or recent hospitalization for depression



Patient having hypertension



Unable to comply with or attend treatment sessions
