In This Poem © 2008 Ricardo Saul La Rosa I am sending you these words telepathically, For it has been a while since we were together, Time and space has not diminished my love for you, For you are in my thoughts perpetually, In this poem, You hold the keys to my happiness, Your memories give me strength to bear the unbearable, You dwell forevermore in my heart-mind, For you and you alone are my beloved, In this poem, I place my life, definitely, my heart in your hands, These tears falling down my face, Comes from the deepest part of my soul, Where our love dwells; lives; grows; explodes, In this poem, I want to tell you how much I adore you, I love you, The length, the width, and the depth of the Universe, Known and unknown, In this poem, On this sheet of paper, with the ink of my veins, I am writing to you my most cherished feelings, Of warmth; of joy; of caring; of loving; of being loved, Beyond what printed words can ever write, In this poem, In these simply and sincere verses, You hold the essence of what my life has meant, For you have been its reason for living, For your love has meant the whole world to me, In this poem, I want to tell you and everyone alive, Just how much I truly love you, I love you; I cherish you; I love you; More powerful than the Sun, And beyond love itself… From BEYOND LOVE
