It is your responsibility to look neat and tidy at every session you attend. You must wear your uniform if provided and follow the dress code at every session. You must wear your photo ID during sessions and in all council premises.

ID BADGE Employee’s responsibilities The Identification Badge must be worn and clearly visible to others. Employees are required to wear Identification Badges at all times on Council business (i.e. during and outwith core hours of business). The official Identification Badge may not be defaced, pierced, partially obstructed in any manner. Stickers, pins or other items affixed to the ID Badge will detract from its purpose and performance.
LOST BADGE PROCEDURE Lost/stolen ID badge details should be reported to Strathclyde Police by accessing https://www.scotland.police.uk/secureforms/lost-property/ Lost or stolen Identity Badges must be reported immediately by the employee to their line manager. It is the employee’s responsibility to ensure that the loss is reported to their Line Manager and that a Lost Badge form is completed.
SMOKING / VAPING Employees will not be allowed to smoke or vape in Council establishments, workplaces or surrounding grounds including all vehicles Accordingly, if any employee wishes to use them then they should do so outside any Council establishments, workplaces / session venues including outdoor areas, vehicles, surrounding grounds and vehicles parked on the grounds. Cars out with the grounds are exempt under the legislation as are other vehicles that are used primarily for private purposes. However, where an employee uses their private car on Council business and on occasion carries as passengers colleagues who do not smoke, they should respect the wishes of the non-smoker by not smoking during these journeys. The smoker should not seek permission to smoke from the passenger(s) rather they should not smoke. Any passenger who is required to make their own travelling arrangements will be reimbursed in accordance with the Council’s Policy on travelling expenses
