Excerpt from THIS SERENADE OF LOVE
Gently Crying For You Ricardo Saúl LaRosa I thought I was over you, I really thought I was, but, I was not, Today your memories invaded my mind, My heart, my world collapsed, again, I felt your presence evermore sitting next to me, Talking to me; telling me that you have come to stay, forevermore, I heard your sweet voice as though you were present, I fell on your shoulders crying uncontrollably, The hurt resurfaced and you consoled me caressing my hair, Wiping my tears with your fingers ever so softly sweet, You whispered in my ear: “I’m sorry, I did not know that you loved me truly, passionately,” Gently crying for you, I am my love, my precious past, My blue valentine, My red rose, My sunlight, My life, My hope, My heaven, My woman, All the love I have ever known is you, All the happiness I have ever enjoyed was with you, Many adventures in my path, but, I have only known one love,
