The Forceformation

Dear Family and Friends, Well here we are, so happy to be able to reconnect with you again. We just wanted to share what has been going on with us here in “The Great White North.” The answers to prayer, confirmations and God’s favor just keep coming. This is such a blessing to us, encouraging us when we need it. God’s faithfulness is remarkable. Here are some examples..



We were in need of a temporary place to stay and the day before we needed to be out of where we were, a family invited us to come stay at their camp. One week before this invitation we had a friend share with us that she felt the Lord had shown her God was going to







We were asking God for a covering for our ministry. A local pastor came and made us an offer because God had put us on his heart. God did it! Remember the homeless man saying “God will provide”? God has been creatively providing through these months. Things we would normally need to buy - He has provided for free, including high quality groceries that we would not have been able to afford without Divine interaction. God spoke it, then did it! We have asked God for the help of family sup-

port. We have that support by many who are close to us. God has done it!



God specifically promised us friends for this chapter and since arriving we have been overwhelmed and blessed with relationships that are quickly deepening. God, again, has done it!



One night, invited to an event, with our cash low, a couple slipped some money into our hands. They admonished us to get supper. The amount they gave us was enough to both enjoy the meal and tithe off of that gift. Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous is the thoughtfulness and careful ingenuity of the Almighty! Carefully...God did it!

An Important Landmark Reached As we shared briefly above we now have a church home and covering of protection and accountability for us and for our work. Around a month and a half ago the pastor of a local church, that we have known for years, came to us believing that God had moved him to offer us his church as the covering for our ministry and a place that we could, in turn, “plug into”. We prayerfully agreed to be in relationship there with us investing ourselves into the church and with the pastor and fellowship investing into us. One part of the body being a supply for the other..sounds like biblical Christianity to us. We are thrilled. It has been such a crucial development both locally as well as for what we are doing elsewhere. With great expectations we are investing ourselves into areas of need such as, mentoring, worship, drama, speaking/equipping and children’s ministries as the Lord leads. This is happening in both one-on-one and group settings. Our heart’s desire is to be both to the Lord’s good pleasure and to the blessing of the body of Christ there . Beautifully, of course, the Lord first put a hunger in our hearts to establish this home base and covering before we even left California. God then provided the particular fellowship and pasturing couple with which to have it. This is such a blessing showing us His involvement and His favor on us and what we are doing.

We also need people faithfully working with us financially so we can minister without monetary hindrance . We would greatly appreciate your help! Please, do ask the Lord to guide your involvement with us. Scriptural precedence for co-laboring and its worth to you is in Prov. 19:17 and 2 Cor. 8:3-4;9:5-13 and Matt. 10:41 and Gal. 6:9-10. -Faithful prayer supporters, as most of what we are doing is on “front lines” up here.

“To look like Jesus, in order to honor the Father , but only through God’s life changing Word and by His Spirit’s power!”

-We have housing and transportation needs. We need our own place to live by the end of August. We are needing the resources for both first/last and monthly rent. We found out it’s going to cost approx. $1000 to make our “American” car “Canadian.”

What’s Been Happening in Canada? There is now more shape to our involvement in the local body. This is a very exciting thing.



Things have settled in nicely as Rory has recently eased into the worship team for the fellowship that we now call home. With the mixing of old and new friendships, it has been a treat for us. July 19’th was Rory’s first Sunday playing and worship lasted for two hours. The Lord did wondrous things during worship time in bringing breakthrough for many. Beautiful!

We have had some timely opportunities for one on one interactions, within the congregation, loving people as the Lord has lead. What a joy to walk with others through hard times, as we see Jesus going before us. It has been an honor.



We have seen Him do this in an assortment of situations involving grief, conflict, the need for intervention, counsel and encouragement as well as prayer, etc. As we think back on the opportunities we have had, like praying with a man in a parking lot, needing the intervention of our Healer for his cancer , or with a man who needed the hope and healing salve of our Comforter for his sense of loss, we are grateful to have been a part of it.

We have been blessed in ministering at the food bank in town. Here is one recent story, of many, that has happened:



A young mom came into the food bank and said she had had a really bad week. Dana asked her if there was anything that could be prayed for. She said no. Dana shared the team’s support and care for her. She

stated that she was going to cry. She and Dana ended up having a good connection time, mom to mom. She had just recently come off of an addiction. This was an awesome connection that Dana hopes will blossom more in the weeks to come.

Rory also had the privilege of ministering to a couple, who were searching, here at the camp where we live, for an intense four hours. Another man, marveling at the state of the world, was able to be reminded of the corruption of the human heart with only Jesus as the cure.
