The Solid Sky Dome There are several indications in the Koran which suggest a belief in a Solid Sky above a Flat Earth. • • • • • • • • • • • •

The Sky is described as a Canopy, Roof or Dome. The Sky is held up by hidden Pillars. The Sky is described as “Wide.” There are gates or openings in the Sky as well as mansions. The Sky can be ripped, torn or split. The Sky can be rolled up like a scroll. God grasps hold of the Sky to stop it moving. The Sky was part of the Earth before being lifted up. Bits of the Sky can fall to Earth. The Sky is a barrier against the Djinn. Heaven and Earth and all between them. There are seven levels or layers in the Sky. 20th March 2009

The Ancient Greeks believed in the existence of seven solid layers in the Sky.There was a layer for the Sun, the Moon and the five known Planets. There was also an outer layer in which the stars were believed to be imbedded. The Stars were thought to be just little lights. The Koran also refers to Seven Heavens.

Conclusion: According to the Koran: • • • • • • • • • • • • •

The Sky is like a Canopy, Roof or Dome. Heaven and Earth are the two halves of the Universe. There are seven levels or layers in the Sky. How can a book that teaches the above be from God? 20th March 2009
