INTRODUCTION WHAT IS INTERNET? The Internet, in simplest terms, is the large group of millions of computers around the world that are all connected to one another. These computers are connected by phone lines, fiber optic lines, coaxial cable, satellites, and wireless connections. INTERNET TURNING TO BE A MENACE Internet Crime/ Cyber Crime is crime committed on the Internet, using the Internet and by means of the Internet .Such crimes include phishing, credit card frauds, bank robbery, illegal downloading, industrial espionage, child pornography, kidnapping children via chat rooms, scams, cyberterrorism, creation and/or distribution of viruses, spam and so on. All such crimes are computer related and facilitated crimes. 07/26/09
