Small Groups

out the water bottles, hosts an event in their home, greets people with a bulletin, etc? Each year we try to encourage people to get involved in serving on one of our ministry teams. These groups are open to new volunteers year-round, so you are already invited. All you need to do is commit to involvement, let them know, and show up. Also, there is always room for creative approaches to new ministries. Don’t let another year go by, decide to serve in 2009.

Guys’ Grubfast Feel the need to go deeper than just Sunday morning worship? People attending small groups get to know one another better as friends in a relaxed home setting. There is food, prayer, a study of some sort, and conversation. Whether things are going well for you or whether it’s tough, decide to go deeper this year. NIV 1 Peter 4:8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. This Winter/Spring we have 7 weekends lined up to meet, then we will break for summer: February 8th & 22nd, March 8th & 22nd, April 19th, May 3rd & 17th. BTW,

So maybe your work doesn’t allow you to get out to the weekly Wise Guys luncheons in Granger. Well now we do a monthly breakfast for teenage and adult guys. We have a short study (like 5 minutes) on some topic, then grub out and talk with our mouths full. (your mom, wife, or girlfriend won’t be there to object, so have that side of sausage too)
