Professional Summary Profile

After my graduation, I started working for Preduzece za puteve „Nis“ – A.D. Nis as an aspirant for one year. During my aspiration period, I made a good progress and the director of my company offered me a position abroad for six months with G.P. „Planum“ – Belgrade in Morocco, to work as chief of upper levels of road construction, building a highway from Casablanca to Marrakech. After two months in Morocco, I was promoted to site engineer of the entire construction site. I lead the construction site, with all machinery and staff, and sought to introduce new ideas and concepts in construction site organization while cooperating with firm management. I was also responsible for dealing with any day-to-day staff problems as they arose. When returned from Morocco, I continued working in my primary company as a Chief of Plan and Preparation on Rehabilitation and Recovery of road and tunnels in Sicevacka Klisura, LOT 16. My duties there included making the overall financial report and salary accounting for the total construction site. In the mean time, I pass the professional exam in March 2007. in addition, get two licenses. Responsible contractor (number of license: 412 B060 07) and Responsible design engineer (number of license: 312 E496 07). After I get my license of responsible contractor, I was promoted to a site engineer on a boulevard Dimitrije Tucovic in Nis. I was responsible for quality of works, deadlines, cash flow and reports to firm management. In October 2007, I successfully finished boulevard Dimitrija Tucovica and I got a new Contract with “Niskogradnja” A.D. Nis, as project manager on Rehabilitation of road in East Serbia, Svrljig – Malca, where I developed my manager and communicational skills with representatives of road authority, client and resident engineers resolving the problems that arise in construction faze of the road. I am presently working in “Tramore House Regional Design Office”, Co. Waterford, Republic of Ireland as temporary assistant engineer in a team designing N24 Cahir to Bansha and N24 Pallasgreen to Bansha. From my arrival in Ireland, I had various trainings to help me to achieve better results in my job such as: MX Road Basic training, provided by staff from THRDO, MX Road Advanced, MX Drainage and MX Road redesign and rehabilitation training provided by Alan Mather from Bentley Institute, S-Paramics traffic model development training course provided by Beata Smyl from ILTP consulting, VISUM 11 macro traffic modeling course provided by Philip Shields from Roughan & O’Donovan Consulting Engineers, WinDes, Micro Drainage training in Design Fundamentals and Bespoke Training Course provided by staff from Micro Drainage Ltd, Introduction to Road Safety audit and Introduction to the Design and Implementation of Traffic Signs & Markings provided by staff from TMS Consultancy. Assistant Engineer N24 Cahir to Bansha and N24 Pallasgreen to Bansha, Budget EUR 133.000.000,Designer As a part of a team designing a dual carriageway type 2, I have gone thru Constraints study and Route Selection report for various options, to compare route options on air and noise quality, archeological sites, and to make a whole design of preferred route and all minor roads that needs to be realignment. I set up the traffic counters in Cahir area and organized a manual traffic counts in order to get valid information for building a traffic model for existing roads and designed N24, also preparing the drawings for eventual oral hearing of preferred route. I have gathered information for cost – benefit analysis and input them in to the COBA software in order to get a cost - benefit ratio for preferred route in preliminary design stage. I have also checked the capacity of all new designed junctions thru PICADY software (Priority Intersection Capacity and Delay) which is used for predicting capacities, queues and delays at major/minor priority junctions and ARCADY software (Assessment of Roundabout Capacity and Delay) which is used for predicting capacities, queues and delays at roundabouts and mini-roundabouts. At the same time, I am working on preliminary and detailed design of a local road called Glen Road in Tramore, Co. Waterford, Ireland, in total length of 2km including the drainage design as well.
