Concept Note (wireless Cafe)

Introduction They say “information technology and computers are here to stay”, you might not agree with that, but with the rise in IT awareness, computer technology, falling computer hardware cost, increased user friendliness of computer systems and the share number of IT/computer infrastructures that are in place today, you have to agree that IT/computers will be around for a long time to come. Today in Nigeria more people and organizations are investing huge amount of recourses into IT and computers. High end sophisticated systems are being purchased and used everyday, but because of lack of proper training and technical know-how, these systems are usually misused and mismanaged leading to poor returns on investments and user frustration. It is inline with the above facts that we believe an IT club (Techclub) that will serve as learning/resource center for people/organization that have invested in IT will go along way in helping people/organizations realize their IT dreams and aspirations. The club will offer a sells and servicing point of IT devices (hardware sales and repairs), IT consultancy, online exams center and wireless internet.

Club Structure and Membership The club will be made up of 3 types of members, the Gold members, Silver member and Bronze members. A one time registration fee is to be paid by the members and then subsequent membership dues are to be paid after a certain period of time. Benefits of membership include free browsing in the club, use of club printers and photocopying machines. Repairs, maintenance and software updates to desktops and laptop computers belonging to members. IT consultancy, computer buying guides/tips to club members. Exposure to latest technologies and software. Members will also get IT training and counseling on IT related jobs.
