Summer Camp on Leaders for Social Transformation

Date: 4th to 8th June, 2009 No. Scholars: 153 (Collegians = 86; +12 Scholars=67) Prepared for 80 to 100 Theme: Learn, Live on, Lead on A Disha Leader is a person with “Character, Conscience, Competence and Commitment”

Objectives:

 To enable them to make choices for the well-being of the society  To orient them towards volunteering  To imbibe in them the faith that could change situations and things  To make them realize that we are one human community and build and better that network of relationship.  To create opportunities to lead  To build your lives on the foundation of worthy values and principles  To elicit Joy of togetherness and belongingness to Disha family  To prepare them to play responsible roles part in Disha Leadership Program

Methodology:  Activity based  Group learning facilitated by a captain and a coach  Community work
