Personality: She puts others before herself. She is always trying to please other people because she’s kind, caring and patient. But, when she gets mad better get out of her way because she’s not nice when you mess with her family.

Family: She is the middle child of seven. This is how it goes:

Oldest: Julian Roberto Romano (25) - Is off at Iraq fighting for freedom.

Second Oldest: Candelaria (a.k.a. Candy) Lorena Romano (23)- Is a banker.

Third Oldest: Braulio Fernando Romano (18) - Just entered collage.

Fourth Oldest: Elena is going to enter her senior year at high school.

Fifth Oldest: Carmen Olivia Romano (16) is a junior at high school.

Sixth Oldest: Jose Manuel Romano (13) is an eighth grader.

Youngest: Belinda Paulina Romano (6) is a first grader.

Her Parents

Father: Julian Manuel Romano (45) Recent owner of a construction business and recently became an American citizen. Julian Sr. migrated to America at the age of 15 and has been working hard ever since. Twenty-five years later he now owns his own construction business.

Mother: Belinda Carmen Romano Perez (40) got pregnant at the age of fifteen with Julian Jr. and has been cleaning houses most of her life but now that Julian Sr. owns his own business she stopped working because they can afford to do so.

Now that Elena’s parents are more than middle class her father decided to move out of East L.A. and go somewhere else.

She wasn’t fond of the idea, but she knew how much better her parents would feel if they did. Now they’re moving to the suburbs of Beverly Hills. A place where diversity isn’t very wide.
