Wine Lovers Hit the Beach in Santa Barbara at the California Wine Festival, July 16-18 Set where State Street meets the sea in downtown Santa Barbara, the California Wine Festival is a three-day celebration of premium wines and gourmet foods July 16, 17 and 18. Now in its sixth year, the festival features hundreds of California’s best red and white wines and live music complemented by dozens of top chefs, all in a sunny seaside setting. “We’re expecting a great festival this year,” director Don Fritzen said. “We’ve rolled back our ticket prices to 2005 levels so our wineloving guests can afford to come this year, bring their friends and have a wonderful time.” Organizers are expecting a wide variety of wineries to pour at the three events, representing every wine region in California, plus regional microbreweries, some imported wine representatives and even vodka and tequila tasting exhibitors. They are also working hard to attract the best local and regional restaurants and food purveyors. Of course, live music has been lined up at all three days’ events to provide an exciting soundtrack to this outdoor extravaganza. For 2009, a new evening of premium wine tasting, great food and music that reflects Santa Barbara’s colonial roots has been added. “We wanted to create a new event that would appeal primarily to local wine lovers. The new event, called “Old Spanish Nights,” will be held Thursday and will attract locals more than the weekend events,” Kami Fritzen said. “We think the old De La Guerra Adobe Courtyard is the perfect venue for this event,” explained Don. “We wanted a location that would reflect the colorful history of Santa Barbara’s Spanish roots. This venue is in the heart of the historic Spanish center of downtown Santa Barbara and will add an authentic look and feel to the theme.” Santa Barbara County wineries will be featured at the tasting
along with local restaurants and caterers who will supply Spanishthemed food samples,” Kami added. Flashy flamenco dancers and traditional live Spanish music will provide the entertainment for this memorable evening. “Old Spanish Nights is intentionally early in the evening,” Don continued, “so we can promote dining out at local participating restaurants after the event. We’re giving our guests discount coupons on wine to promote dining and ‘wine-ing’ at local restaurants during this tough year, especially those that support the California Wine Festival by pouring wine and giving away delicious food samples during the events.” Tickets are available at the festival website, www.CaliforniaWineFestival.com, at local wine shops, the Arlington Theater box office and Santa Barbara Axxess office.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (NEW) Thursday, July 16, 5:30 to 8 p.m. – Old Spanish Nights This is a celebration of local wines, foods and music true to Santa Barbara’s Spanish roots. The historic De La Guerra Adobe Courtyard, site of the original Spanish fiestas in Santa Barbara, will provide the perfect setting for this exciting evening of wine and food festivities. Local and regional wineries will showcase their world-class wines accompanied by a spicy array of Spanish appetizers. Colorful Flamenco dancers, accompanied by Luna Gitana, a popular California Flamenco-Latin band will provide entertainment throughout the event. A wine and dine promotion encourages attendees to extend their evening by dining in Santa Barbara after the event.
Friday, July 17, 6:30 to 9 p.m. – Sunset Rare & Reserve Wine Tasting Llimited to just 400 lucky ticket holders, this is the toughest ticket in town. California’s best winemakers dust off their rare and

reserve level bottles in a wine lovers’ fantasy night of sipping the ‘GOOD STUFF!’ Some wines being poured are no longer in distribution; some are proprietors’ reserves and end-of-vintage wines. A champagne reception greets guests who may be treated to Napa trophy cabs, rare bottles from Sonoma, the Sierras, Central Coast, Santa Barbara County and more. Top regional chefs will serve hot and cold appetizers while live retro blues/jazz recording artists Donna Greene and the Roadhouse Daddies keep things super cool. The charming old-world carousel at Chase Palm Park Plaza provides the backdrop for this romantic summer night under the stars.
Saturday, July 18, 1 to 4 p.m. – Beachside Food & Wine Fest This ever-popular event has become a midsummer tradition in Santa Barbara and gets underway at 11:30 a.m. for VIP and Gold Pass holders and 1 p.m. for regular ticket holders. Thousands of wine lovers will hit the sun-splashed beachside location for a day of sun, wine, food and music. Literally hundreds of premium California wines are served up along with the best of the regional microbreweries, local top chefs and food purveyors and vendors of all things related to wine. Tickets are available starting as low as $39 (Old Spanish Nights) and full-weekend passes are available on the festival website, www.CaliforniaWineFestival.com, at local wine shops, the Arlington Box Office and Santa Barbara Axxess office. DRAGONFLY GARDENS AND TASTING GALLERY A Sensory Oasis in Paso Robles Dale Evers’ new Dragonfly Gardens and the soon-to-be-opened Dragonfly Tasting Gallery bring wine and art together with an exciting new concept that incorporates wine tasting, gallery and working art studios with an outdoor sculpture garden. Located just off Highway 101 near 46 West in scenic Paso Robles, Dragonfly Gardens and Tasting Gallery are located just minutes from Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo and Hearst Castle. The three-acre art, wine and garden oasis are a must-see destination while exploring the flavors of the Central Coast.
The Gardens Dragonfly Sculpture Gardens is an outdoor art and garden experience conceptualized by entrepreneur and artist Dale Evers which is quickly becoming known as the largest display of indoor and outdoor sculpture on the west coast. Artists Dale Evers and Steven Addi teamed up to create this artistic natural setting with designer Mike English who championed the flowing natural landscape and water features designed to highlight both the featured art pieces and the picturesque Paso Robles setting that surrounds them. A cascading water feature provides a dramatic interlude, moving guests amid the gardens and 30+ sculpture installations, and the adjacent Tasting Gallery and Artist Studios offer an opportunity to savor the site’s unique flavor. “The goal was to create a space where art, artists and guests could interact in a natural, peaceful setting,” explained Evers on a recent stroll through the gardens. “The energy is palpable, and I think we’ve achieved that.”
The Tasting Gallery Adjacent to the gardens, joined by the intermingling art pieces, Dragonfly Tasting Gallery expands the experience to incorporate the sights and sounds of working art studios as well as the flavors of local wineries. At one side of the building are the studios of renowned artist Dale Evers and artist-in-residence Steven Addi, with additional studio areas set aside for visiting artists. At the other, a tasting gallery featuring individual tasting bars for a handful of local wineries. Guests are encouraged to explore the wines while watching the artists work in the studios, browsing the galleries and gardens or visiting the gift shop – rightfully stocked with artwork, art books, wine and wine-related gift items. “It’s not about one experience,” said Evers. “It’s about bringing all of these great pieces of experience together into something new, something larger – creating a new experience altogether.” Dragonfly Gardens and Tasting Gallery are also available for special events and private parties, providing a unique setting for wine country weddings, private events and more. For more information, to book space, or for wineries interested in pouring at the Tasting Gallery, visit www.DragonflyTastingRooms.com or call (805) 434-9237. Dragonfly Gardens and Tasting Gallery are open daily, located just off Highway 101 at 3055 Limestone Way in Paso Robles.

gone beyond pure sculpture to successfully blend the worlds of fine art and functional design. Evers is recognized as a pioneer for his eyecatching table designs and amazing ability to mix mediums and has continued to expand his vision for art that serves purpose. Recently Evers has developed a fusion of hand-blown glass, bronze and steel to create a line of functional art lighting and accessories. Additionally, his dramatic fountain designs, beautiful entry gates and grand scale garden art have captured attention around the west. Dale’s mantra is: “Get the art out.” That is, bring the art outside – outside of the gallery, outside of the studio, outside of the expectations. With a love of all things natural, Dale has always pushed the envelope of creativity, driven by inspiration. He spends much of his inspiration time with a camera, above the water and below, gathering data that generate ideas which manifest themselves into glass, bronze and steel designs that are both authentic and imaginative. It is this ability to fuse these mediums together into inspired creative reality that sets Dale Evers’ work apart from the rest of the world. Discover Lakeside Wine Tasting on the Central Coast Saturday, June 27th, 4 to 8 pm The Atascadero Lakeside Wine Festival is turning heads this year as the Central Coast’s premier outdoor evening wine tasting event. Now in its 14th year, the festival has grown into an evening affair to take advantage of Atascadero’s warm summer evenings all while hosting more than 70 amazing Central Coast wineries, showcasing gorgeous work from local plein air and fine artists and featuring incredible cuisine from local restaurants. And, knowing that a little value goes a long way in today’s economy, the Atascadero Lakeside Wine Festival is an amazing price for any wine enthusiast: a notable $35 in advance at www.atascaderowinefestival.com and only $40 at the door. The festival was created by a local volunteer committee in 1995 to support local city projects including the Charles Paddock Zoo and over the years has raised more than $100,000. Committee Chair, Barbie Butz is a founding volunteer and states, “We love that the local wineries and business communities are such great supporters of the only zoo in San Luis Obispo County.” Pati Coelho of Adelaida Cellars in Paso Robles affirms that they love the cause behind the event stating, “Our general manager has a very big heart when it comes to animals and loves that proceeds are going to the zoo.” This wine event that many people have come to love has undergone other exciting changes as well. The logo image has been updated and includes a small name change. “By adding Lakeside into the event name, the committee felt it would paint a picture at a glance for all to envision. We are the only lakeside wine tasting event on the Central Coast and wanted to make that more prominent,” said Butz. “While wine tasters stroll by the lake, plein air artists will be hard at work painting the beautiful scene. Wine, food and art are a natural combination; add the lakeside setting
12
and its pure magic.” With the time of the event being pushed to the evening from 4 to 8 p.m. the wineries and event goers avoid the possibility of pouring and drinking wine in hot summer weather, at the same time taking advantage of Atascadero’s warm, summer nights. “The response from the wineries has been phenomenal,” stated Gail Kudlac, winery coordinator. “They are excited about the time change and believe that the evening temperatures will lend a more comfortable atmosphere and hope it will attract more wine tasters.” Katy Smith of Firestone Vineyard in Paso Robles stated she looks forward to the more intimate and artistic setting of this festival also, which sets it apart from other large wine tasting events saying, “It’s a beautiful location and lets me be more interactive with the tasters.” Festival goers will embark on a wine and culinary adventure served up by some of the best local restaurateurs on the Central Coast, who will not only serve their finest cuisine but will offer their wine pairing expertise as well. To satisfy the festival goers wine-and-dine appetite, local restaurants like Hush Harbor, 10th Street Grill, Golden China, The Guest House, Mr. C’s Catering, Level 4, Colby Jack and Central Coast Cooks will be selling their delicious delectable’s throughout the event. As usual the festival comes alive with the dancing tunes of the Mighty Croon Dogs. So don’t miss this fabulous, artistic, lakeside, evening, dancing, eating and drinking, wine tasting event! The Atascadero Lakeside Wine Festival takes place at Atascadero Lake Park, Saturday, June 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. A free shuttle provided by Wine Country Charters will be available from the Sunken Gardens in downtown Atascadero. INTELLIGENCE FOR THE WINE CONSUMER
by Len Napolitano
What is corked wine? There’s a lot of talk about corked wine among winemakers, but, oddly enough, relatively little among wine consumers. It could ruin the day for a winemaker, but will likely go unnoticed by the average wine drinker. Still, the industry is taking steps, some might describe them as drastic, to greatly reduce, and ultimately eliminate, corked wines from the wine scene altogether. A corked wine is not what you may think it is. It is not a wine that has been oxidized because of a dry cork that does not seal out air properly. And it is not a wine that has pieces of broken cork floating inside. Rather, it is a wine that has been tainted by a cork that contains a chemical called TCA. The result is a smell that is obvious to anyone who makes, sells or recommends wine for a living, but may not be so easily detectable by the average wine consumer. A corked wine is described as having an odor of mustiness, dampness, wet cardboard and other unflattering comparisons. When you stick your nose in the glass the first time, the scent can sometimes be jarring. Other times it is subtle. In either case, the wine is certainly
drinkable without causing harm. The problem is that it tends to destroy the fine fragrances of fruit that the winemaker has taken pains to bring forward. This is the main reason the winemaking industry has begun using alternative methods of bottle closure, including twist caps, which have a zero chance of getting TCA contamination. In the process of manufacturing natural corks, steps are taken to be sure the material is kept clean, all the way through to packaging. Tests are done on samples to check for levels of TCA. Unfortunately, in cases that are estimated to range from 2% to 10%, tainted corks will slip by, get shipped to wineries with TCA levels above the average threshold of detection and end up as closures in bottles. When ordering wine in a restaurant, if you suspect it may be corked, don’t hesitate to ask for a second opinion. You should be able to tell from a few good sniffs of the wine inside a glass. Concentrate on what you smell, and think about the words above that I used to describe a corked wine. If any of them apply, chances are the wine is tainted and will not be nearly as enjoyable as it was intended to be. If the wine is purchased at a retailer it’s not so easy to send it back, but if you do return the unfinished bottle, be sure to explain the “off” aroma correctly. Len Napolitano lives in Sonoma Wine Country and is certified in wine by the Society of Wine Educators, Wine & Spirits Education Trust and Chicago Wine School and continually gains knowledge from his frequent contact with California winemakers. More information is on his website, www.wineology.com. Send your questions about wine to:

If we’re successful, everyone involved wins: our charity, our sponsors, our event attendees, area hotels, supporting wineries and our local economy.” A newly remodeled and enhanced Winemakers’ Cookoff website has also just been completed to better assist prospective attendees. On the site, visitors can purchase tickets and will find detailed information about the Cookoff including: sponsors, participating wineries and hotel packages, event directions, judges and event beneficiaries. P erfect P airs Meatloaf Paired with Zin City Rollers Reserve Zinfandel
If you are going to tweak an American institution that is as loved and time-tested as meat loaf, you should know what you are doing. If not, you risk a permanent relocation from the kitchen to a less critical room of the house. Fortunately, the people at Sort This Out Cellars have honored the iconic meatloaf with a first class recipe and a fun wine to pair with it. When pairing Zinfandel with any dish, the first word that should come to mind is spice – one of the primary characteristics of this grape that marries nicely with dishes of the same ilk. This recipe, Meatloaf with Zin City Zinfandel Reduction Sauce, includes everything spicy you can throw at Zinfandel, while being deftly handled by the 2007 Zin City Rollers Reserve Zinfandel. The ingredients include onion, bell pepper, mustard, black pepper, red pepper and more, that together create a rich and flavorful dish that screams for something equally robust to handle all the power of the ingredients. This Zinfandel answers the call. Leave it to a wine company that built its business model and marketing around the celebration of the true American spirit to create this all-American combination. Zinfandel, generally regarded as America’s grape varietal, creates a serious wine with a personality that seeks out fun. It pairs well with so many party foods – pizza, buffalo wings, barbecued ribs – that it's no wonder that so many wine festivals are centered around it. Sort This Out Cellars gets creative with their Zin City Rollers Reserve Zinfandel with a Las Vegas, aka “Sin City,” theme for the label. But the wine is a sure bet, made with 60-year old vines from Lodi, known for the kind of hot summers that the Zinfandel grape thrives in. And at a respectable 13.5% alcohol, it has a balance of components that honors the fruit in the wine and the essence of the dish. “With cherry cola flavors and sweet spice on the finish, Zin City matches the richness of the meatloaf with bold flavors and body,” explains Jeff Munsey, one of the brand’s owners. Zin City Zinfandel is part of the Black Label line of wines from Sort This Out Cellars, who created the line as a tribute to classic Las Vegas style. Other wines in the program are “Lady Luck” Chardonnay, “Money Plays” Merlot and “Hardways” Cabernet Sauvignon. Another product of theirs, the Viva Las Vegas, line stands out by virtue of the vintage artwork labels alone. Labels for all of the wines of Sort This Out Cellars are designed with fun, mid-century style art. The winery selects grapes from vineyards around the state for their small lot programs and buys premium wines in bulk to blend with their own. All their wines can be sampled at their tasting room at 593 Avenue of the Flags, Unit #593 in Buellton, open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. WOOD WINERY Blending Business & Family Together Wood Winery is a unique “boutique” winery, owned and operated by Craig and Sheri Wood and is located right here on the Central Coast of California. It is a small, family business that relies on the help they get from the four generations living on the estate. From the 95-year-old matriarch to 12-year-old Jackson, it is truly a family affair. “I don’t consider myself a winemaker,” says Craig. “I’m a winegrower. Winemakers fix problems that come up. I grow the fruit. That’s where the wine is made first,” he adds. Wood wines spend two years in the barrel and a year in the bottle before they are released. “I’m just now drinking through some of my ’04s and ’05s,” says Craig. “Owning a winery is a lot of hard work and I think having my family so involved (from planting to consumption) makes it all worthwhile,” says Sheri, manager of the tasting room. The winery, specializing in Syrah and one of the only Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards ripened in the San Luis Obispo area, is currently producing some exceptional blends. “We have three blends
18
released right now that are our most popular wines in the tasting room. I am really into drinking blends and it seems like our customers are, too,” states Sheri. The 2005 Raffiné, a Bordeaux-style blend, is made up of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. The name means “refined” in French and that it is. Wood Winery pairs this with some nice, dark cherry chocolates and says the flavors explode in your mouth. It really is a sensory treat. One of their many unique labels, Raffiné, pictured above, is a golden sun amidst a backdrop of vineyard planted hills. Raffiné retails for $18 a bottle. The 2005 Syranet, a blend of Syrah and Cabernet, and as the name imparts is their own named creation and design. Like a serenade, this wine will sing to you. The blend of 60% Syrah from the awardwinning Gina’s vineyard and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon from Jackson’s vineyard won a gold medal last year at the California State Fair, which is understandable once you taste this wine. The Syranet was also just awarded a Silver Medal at the San Francisco
Chronicle wine competition in February of this year. It is Sheri’s all-time favorite and the biggest seller in the Arroyo Grande Tasting Room – a very balanced wine with dark black fruit, complexity and a yummy finish. Retail price is $32. Bling…the name says it all. Wood Winery's newest release and featured wine, is a proprietary blend of Syrah, Cab Franc and Malbec. Not only does the wine taste great, (an oak laden fruit bomb), it is a marketing sensation! The stunning black and silver label is so elegant against the black bottle. But it only gets better. Each bottle is embellished with Swarovski Austrian crystals. Each crystal is hand applied and makes this bottle not only enjoyable to look at but “people just can’t throw them away. Customers buy one to drink and one to display,” says Sheri, the creator of the design. The idea came to her in the middle of the night and has since exploded their sales. Boutiques up and down the state are fighting over exclusive selling rights. Not just wine bars, but regular stores and specialty shops. Event

coordinators are vying for the wine for their weddings and parties. Words and pictures cannot do it justice. Bling is bottled with extravagance in mind and you can never have too much Bling. The label states that too! Bling sells for $30. Not only known for their award-winning wines, their unique and creative spin on wine labels has made their tasting room a destination. Wood Winery is the place to get your “crazy labels” and unique gifts. Some of the most popular designs are: Crazy Hairdresser Red, Spanish Dancer Albariño, Vino Pastoso Sangiovese, Zen Zin and Rosé Palm just to name a few. Our labels are different and collectable. We have customers that drive a long way to buy that special someone a gift that won’t be forgotten! Wood Winery produces about 3,000 cases a year of various wines. Their wines have been awarded double gold, best of class, and platinum medals. Last year was a great year for the winery with the highest honors awarded to them at the L.A. International Wine Competition. Wood Winery came in top 20 out of over 4500 international wines for their 2004 Jackson’s vineyard Cabernet. The Wood Winery tasting room is located at 136 Bridge Street in Arroyo Grande and is open Thursday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5p.m. and Friday’s until 7p.m. For more information and a list of upcoming events, call (805) 489-9663 or go to the website at www.wildwoodwine.com.

Winemaker Profile: Anglim Winery
STEVE ANGLIM by Dave Wilcox
C
rafting wine is a bit like raising children, surmises Steve Anglim. “They’re going to be what they’re going to be, and you can only steer them in the right direction.” Like any good parent knows, Anglim realizes that starting with a solid foundation and nurturing children with undivided attention usually leads to good results. So it is at Anglim Winery in Paso Robles, where Anglim crafts mostly Rhône-style varietals and blends using grapes grown in some of the most sought-after vineyards on the Central Coast. That Anglim would use a parenting analogy to discuss the winemaking process is fairly apt, given that it was a Father’s Day present that truly spurred the ultimate decision to open a family-run winery. The gift was a home winemaking kit that launched a hobby that ultimately, said Anglim, became out of control. In pursuing that hobby, however, he realized early on that the key to making good wine was to obtain the finest fruit available. Since launching Anglim Winery in 2002, Anglim has continued to foster strong working relationships with growers at such
30
vineyards as Bien Nacido, Fiddlestix and French Camp, to name a few. Anglim’s decision to start a winery came when Nissan, where he held an executive position in southern California, decided to move to Tennessee. By then, his “hobby” had pretty well taken over the family’s garage. “We were giving all the wine away to friends. Either we had to cut the hobby back or start a winery.” Anglim had taken wine production and marketing classes at UC Davis and read virtually everything he could get his hands on about winemaking. Ultimately, though, he said working with some very talented winemakers provided invaluable education. “The wine community here is remarkably collegial,” he said. “People are open, helpful and willing to help you improve your program.” Anglim focuses primarily on red and white Rhone-style wines, although he continues to pursue crafting family favorites such as Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. He strives to produce wines that “tend to be more elegant than overbearing.” “The first goal is to build the structure of the wines. I want them to have a consistent feel on the palate from the front of the mouth
to the back and through to the finish.” There’s nothing inherently wrong with big, muscular wines, he said, if they’re balanced and consistent. “You can make a subdued wine, or one that’s a little more in-your-face, but you need to decide which it’s going to be.” Using 100 percent French oak, Anglim manages the percentage of new and used oak, along with time in a barrel, to avoid what he calls “overextracted, tannic monsters. I want the wines to have a balanced style with enough character to be cellared, but enough elegance to be enjoyed now.” The winery produces between 3,000 and 4,000 cases annually, a number Anglim said isn’t likely to change significantly. Many of the limited releases sell out quickly. There may be long days and economic uncertainty in the wine business, but it’s clear Anglim has no regrets. “It’s been a ball of fun. It’s been a blast.” The Anglim Winery tasting room is in the historic, 120-year-old Paso Robles train depot, just a couple of blocks from City Park in downtown at 740 Pine St. It’s open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday-Monday. WINE COUNTRY THIS WEEK: CENTRAL COAST
Preferred Tasting Room
SILVER HORSE WINERY by Michael Cervin
T
he first thing you notice as you step out of your car onto the bluff-top tasting room of Silver Horse Winery is how quiet it is. It’s almost serene. Then you notice the views of a vast sky with simple rolling hills that begin to dissipate in the distance. Silver Horse is located only eight miles from the highway, but you’d never know it. You’re deep into Paso Robles wine country. Winemaker Stephen Kroener describes his hand-crafted premium wines as, “100percent food-friendly.” The tasting room opened in 2005 as a family endeavor. “As a family, we’re always looking to combine our love of food with our love of wine. As a winemaker, I want to create wines, whether they are varietal-driven or blends, that have nice, bright notes and a well balanced structure that is sturdy without being overpowering.” The Silver Horse portfolio includes only one white wine, Albarino, as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petite Sirah and several blended wines. The interior of the Spanishstyled tasting room is comfortable with a vaulted ceiling, wood-burning fireplace and leather club chairs. Autumnal tones and
Southwest art creates a warm, relaxed vibe. On either side of the tasting bar, window cut outs allow for views into the barrel room. Outside there are bocce ball courts and, fittingly, horseshoes. Stephen was asked by the Paso Robles
www.WineCountryThisWeek.com
Wine Country Alliance to create a special wine exclusively for the 2009 Amgen bike tour and each rider received their own bottle of wine, while the winner of the Paso Robles Stage 5 was gifted with a hand-etched nine liter large format bottle, weighing 50 pounds! Being at the winery means that Stephen, a passionate surfer, isn’t at the beach. But he carves out time for both of his loves. “Winemaking is a fragile process just like surfing. You’re dealing with Mother Nature. I say it again and again, it has to be great in the vineyard to have the potential to be great in the bottle.” Whether seeking out the perfect harvest or the perfect wave, the diligent search always continues. “You know those moments are out there, but you have to be passionate, and know what you are doing to recognize when Mother Nature, and all your hard work, presents the perfect moment.” To taste some of Stephen’s “perfect moments,” stop by the tasting room at 2995 Pleasant Road in San Miguel. They are open Friday through Monday only from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the tasting fee is $7. For more information, call (805) 467-9463.

TIPSY
Breed: Beagle Favorite Past times: Hanging out with Winemaker Craig, she is obsessed with him. Can Be Found … at the winery, or by Craig's side, eating grapes or rolling in the sun. Have anything to say for yourself? I am the princess of the house. I sneak onto the furniture while my owners are away. I love to cuddle and I snore a lot...sorry.

Favorite Things: I love my person Craig, and dinner scraps, but I could go without food if I had Craig with me all day long. If you see me … you will definetely say... “Awww you are so cute, floppy ears and all.”
