OBITUARY
We mourn the loss of one of our Grade 7 teachers – Mr. John Moss. Mr. Moss leaves his two sisters and his great friend of 43 years, John Reucassel. Our thoughts are with them during this sad time. A Memorial Service will be held at St Mungo’s Church (cnr. Grosvenor and William Nicol) Bryanston at 13h00 on Tuesday 28 February. The school will close at 11h15 in order for staff to attend as well as any pupils who may wish to attend. It would be appreciated if you could make arrangements for your children to be fetched at this time.

SWIMMING GALA
On Friday 17 February 2006 the A50 Team took part in a Gala at Crawford in Sandton with the following result: 1st Bryandale 688 points 2nd Rivonia 616 points 3rd Bryanston 579 points 4th Crawford Sdt 477 points 5th Craighall 333 points

A memorial assembly will be held during the Senior Assembly on Friday from 08h00 to 08h30 for the children and any parents or past-pupils wishing to attend.
This was the first of our new format "Individual" gala one week and "Relay" gala the next. Well done to all the children who made Bryandale proud!!!

APPLICATIONS FOR 2007 CLOSING DATE 30 MARCH 2006. Special preference cannot be given to those siblings who apply after this date.
BULB FUNDRAISING
The BPA will be distributing order forms to each class for bulb orders. An ice cream will be given to each to pupil in the class that raises the most money. The pupil who raises the most money will get R200 in Fourways Mall vouchers. The second prize will be R150 and the third prize R100. Please order your Spring bulbs through your child and the school.

Well done to the following swimmers who attended the Gauteng Trials in Pretoria at the beginning of February (they swim 50m) Jordan Clark, Nicholas Duncan-Traill, Matthew Pedder, Adam Tyrer. They all did the school proud.
