HEALTH • The main causes of death in Belgium are cardiovascular diseases, neoplasms, diseases of the respiratory system and non-natural causes of death (accidents and suicides).

• Unnatural causes and cancer are the leading cause of death in women over 24 and in men over 44.46 • The health system is financed by a social security system and taxes.
