SAFETY COMES FIRST. At Banlaw Pipeline we’re committed to providing the highest quality refueling and Fuel monitoring equipment available. Having worked for over 25 years in the large scale Mining, Rail, Port Handling and Transport industries, we understand the Work Safety, Occupational Health, Environment and Best Practice issues involved in handling fuel. We also understand the cost and site management issues associated with Fuel handling. This experience, coupled with our ongoing field testing and Research, has enabled Banlaw Pipeline to develop, design, rigorously test, and then manufacture and supply the best possible
equipment for mining and associated heavy industries. We build our equipment to last. All nozzles are repairable, not disposable! They are built tough, to handle constant usage. All electronic equipment is made to be failsafe.

Zero means Zero! Banlaw Pipeline deliver complete end to end solutions “From Delivery to Burn”. Solutions which work.
‘We're committed to the best solutions and we're here for the long haul!’
THE FillSafe SYSTEM IS FULLY ELECTRONIC. It is not hydraulic or mechanical. Mechanical systems rely on pressure in the tank to determine a level, but if they fail they are hard to troubleshoot and expensive to fix the problem.
WHY CHOOSE BANLAW PIPELINE?
The FillSafe Electronic system is faster to trouble shoot, can be easily overridden, and has primary and secondary shut-off, which has proven to be more reliable in the field. It doesn’t rely on human intervention, it operates automatically.
Banlaw Pipeline has been working in the Mining industry, as well as with Rail and Port Authorities for over 25 years – designing, manufacturing, installing and maintaining our own Patented Fuel Systems. We specialize in Fuel systems for these industries. Banlaw Pipeline don’t just sell Fuel Systems! We design and manufacture our own patented equipment, and work directly with mines, rail authorities and other industrial companies to ensure that the equipment and solutions we recommend and supply do the job completely no if’s, but’s or maybe’s.

IS FUEL SPILLAGE ON YOUR SITE A RISK?
FillSafe CONTROLS THE TANK VOLUME.
If your site still relies on tank back pressure to detect fuel “full” levels, you could be running a big risk. Environmental fines are heavy. Any spillage through vent overflows, operator handling issues, mechanical faults or incorrect setups is a big problem. Risk of fire. Site damage. Environmental issues. Insurance compliance. Damage claims. Downtime.
It’s a fully sealed system. It operates without tank pressurization. Each vehicle has its own level sensor fitted – locomotives, trucks, shovels, service truck, loaders, bulldozers – ALL vehicles. In turn the filling station – underground and above ground tanks, as well as service vehicles can be fitted with a FillSafe level sensor.
Can you really afford the risk? It simply isn’t worth it.
’Our equipment HOW FULL IS FULL?
is made tough,
Relying on a quick fill nozzle, or physically watching the tank level gauge on the machine to check its fuel level is too risky, and relies too heavily on operators, tank setups and a range of other variables. Also, if this involves climbing onto tanks, it could also result in injury claims.
and stays tough.’
Underfilling a vehicle can also be just as much a problem as overfilling. It wastes vehicle and operator time, and costs money through inefficiency and downtime.
When fuel is required, the nozzle and fuel receiver (on tank) are connected using a quick connect/release mechanism to form a secure couple together. The FillSafe system once activated then allows fuel filling to commence, only if the fuel tank requires fuel. The system can also be easily overridden in the event of failure to allow the manual refuelling couplings to at least fill the tank as normal. This is considered FailSafe, ie primary and secondary means of filling the tank. As a fully integrated system, no spillage can occur or significant machine down time be experienced. Fuel will automatically stop flowing into the tank when the level sensor senses that the tank is full. No more guesswork, no manually turning nozzles back onto overfill
the tank. No more manually having to check full levels. The level sensor will take into account fuel expansion, optimum tank full level and eliminates the chance of spillage through a vent.
PRESSURING A TANK CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS Manually overriding fuel nozzles to fill a tank, and overfilling can contribute to significant mechanical and environmental damage. It also leads to long term acceptance by all operators that spillage is "acceptable". Tank rupture is also possible with repeated, excessive pressure. This can’t happen with the FillSafe ZP system, which is extremely accurate, and is not affected by different flow rates, head or line pressures, or pump type. Flow rates of over 1000 Lpm can be achieved with no increase in tank pressure.
ALL FUEL USAGE IS CAPTURED The FillSafe system can be operated as a "standalone" system, but can also be linked to Banlaw Pipeline’s Fueltrack system. The FuelTrack system enables vehicles, tanks, and receiver/supply nozzles to be linked together electronically, so that each vehicle can be tracked by its usage precisely. Once installed at a site, the FuelTrack system ensures that ALL fuel used at the site is automatically centrally monitored via an electronic linkup. This tracks usage by vehicle – including those supplied by Service Trucks on site. The FillSafe ZP system ensures that no fuel is spilled, and tanks are filled completely. The FuelTrack fuel monitoring system then tracks all fuel usage electronically. Both systems operate independently, but can be linked together, and are fully upgradeable.
