ASSIGNMENT OF FINAL EXAM FOR WRITING (ENGLISH IV)
Written by: Yessy Saraswati NIM : 15410014
1. Are you a serious person or are you studying only if there will be examination ? I am the type of person who is difficult to learn. My understanding is so slow and I have the limitations to remember the new things or events. Therefore I found many obstacles while studying. But, the parents of one of my friends who work as psychologists provide many solutions and self-development that benefits me in terms of learning. And until now I have practice. I am accustomed to studying seriously. Because my memory is so weak, he advised me to concentrate on receiving class lessons, maybe almost 70% I can understand the material presented in class. And even then if the class I'm following is an exact or calculating class. If the class I follow is an oral class, then I use my phone to record everything the teacher talks about. And at night, I repeat the class material by listening to the tape. And that is why I do not have to worry about my weakness because I have been practicing concentration and use learning system to be understood and not just memorize. 2. How do you see your dream job ? Do you have dream job ? I have a job that I dreamed since childhood. I want to be a chemistry teacher. At first, I just wanted to be a teacher without deeper concentration, but after I saw my chemistry teacher in high school, I was amazed. I want to be like him who simply writes various series of compounds on the board and brings lab activities in a fun and easy to understand way. He is a genius and humble person, so I and my classmates feel very fortunate to have teachers in lessons that are almost disliked by children our age. Although now I take major biology, but I am not discouraged to keep learning. I still want to be a chemistry teacher and help my prospective students to love and understand chemistry lessons with ease and fun. I also want to remove the stigma that has been circulating in the school world if the chemistry lessons are boring and very difficult to understand. 3. What will you do after graduating from UNAI ? After being graduated from UNAI, I will go directly to the place where I have been given a scholarship by them. I will serve there for almost eight years. There is a place where I fulfill my dream as a teacher. But, the desire to continue education to a higher level it does exist. I want to take a master's program in molecular biology and learn about DNA. I am very interested in such a thing because it is a challenging and very fun thing. Therefore now I have to study harder so my sponsor will give me a chance to continue my education. But if I can not achieve it, I also feel happy if I am required to serve first. It was a provision of valuable experience throughout my career in education. There I will meet various characters of children and also learn how to deal with or respond to their attitude. That is what I will do after I graduated from UNAI. 4. What is your responsibility to make your dreams come true ? I will study hard. I will try to reject all the excitement that comes now. I want to bother first now and it will produce sweet results. I do not want to relax now but in the end, I'm in trouble and even hard to finish education. Discipline in learning is something that I
need to improve again when I am a hard person to learn. With discipline, I can manage time well. Plus now I'm college while working. It is not easy. I have to learn to manage time. Even though I had to fall and wake up to pursue a class and divide my time to work. It was an early capital lesson for the most enjoyable discipline. And most of all it is always surrendered to God, whatever happens. I can indeed plan this and that. But If God says 'yes', then it is a gift to me. If God says 'wait', then something is not right in my plan. And if God says 'no', I believe that God has a better plan than I had planned. 5. Do you have support from other people ? Please mention and explain. Yes, of course. I have people who really support me. The first is my mother. He is a tough, original Balinese woman who has been educating me hard. Not by violence, but he educated me to be a tough and not spoiled girl like any other girl. He taught me that I could live and be a useful person even though I was put in the forest though. The second is my father. Although he is not a member of the army, but since childhood, he has educated me on military techniques. Therefore I am accustomed to disciplining in any case and against all things that are not in accordance with what he has taught. I really appreciate him because I can be influenced by others. Next are my younger brothers. They become a complementary way so that my character would get better. Thus, my family is very influential in my life.
