Excerpt from POET IN EXILE
Are You My Love? Ricardo Saul LaRosa
Are you my love? Are you my dream come true at last? An angel and the blessings thereof, The yearnings of days past, Are you the one whom I have been waiting for? To love, to cherish, to kiss and adore, Are you my love and mine alone? Kisses adoring my soul, A special girl, mine, to call my own, Eyes, glowing eyes, burning through me as coal, Are you the one whom this poet wrote about, Endlessly without a doubt, Are you Venus come to Earth? Adorned in a colorful silk dress with silver thread, With love more than all the gold’s worth, A bride and groom to be wed, A woman and a man united in love, Beloved, Are you that star in my night sky? Twinkling and hauntingly splendid, My girl lovingly and shy, Your body and mine blended, In love’s bliss, Your womanly kiss, Are you my love?

Excerpt from POET IN EXILE From the heavens above, Are you mine and only mine, Show me, love, a tender sign, Are you my guiding star, I am wishing that you are, Loneliness no more, And in love forevermore, Beyond today and the morrow, With no more sorrow… Only love to be, For you and me…
