DG Hannahs’ News Bytes Letter from the President Hello WDC Delta Gamma members and friends! I'm so thrilled and honored to address you for the first time as alumnae chapter president. Delta Gamma has always been my home away from home and a constant source of friendship, laughter, learning, and fun. Originally I thought my Delta Gamma journey would end once I graduated from college. Fortunately when I moved to DC and joined the alumnae chapter I learned that it only got better! Thank you to everyone that attended Founders Day to rededicate themselves to the ideas of the Fraternity and honor our

three founders. A very special thank you to Genefer Thornton, Elizabeth Haile, and Jennifer Middleton for organizing a truly memorable and lovely brunch. Congratulations to all of our award winners, especially my dear friend Helen Gordon who received one of the Fraternity's highest honors. You all deserve a huge round of applause (or snaps!) for all of your hard work and dedication. In the coming months you can expect a lot of exciting things to be happening to this chapter. The April chapter event is an old favorite, bowling and happy hour at Lucky

Strike Lanes! We hope you can join us on Wednesday, April 22! Also, make sure to mark your calendars for Spring Fling on May 20! This year we're adding a new twist to our annual spring Foundation fundraiser and are hosting an all Greek and friends social mixer. You can expect drink specials, free food, great raffle prizes, and the chance to network with fellow Greeks. And finally, we will be releasing our summer calendar soon so make sure to check out the new and improved web site for more details (www.wdcdeltagamma.org).
