Discuss the check-in/out procedures for advisory control. Discuss the separation procedures for both radar and Non-radar targets. Discuss the alert and advisories to be given in W-291 as prescribed in FAAO 7110.65 and FACSFACINST 3120.1. ALLOTTED TEACHING TIME 8.0 hour TRAINEE PREPARATION
Discuss the importance of accuracy checks on radar equipment as well as other uses as prescribed in FAAO 7110.65 Chapter 5: Radar, Section 1: General. Discuss the importance of Beacon Systems as prescribed in FAAO 7110.65 Chapter 5: Radar, Section 2: Beacon Systems. Discuss the methods and procedure for Radar Identification as prescribed in FAAO 7110.65 Chapter 5: Radar, Section 3: Radar Identification.
