FAMILIES ARE ENCOURAGED TO JOIN the community of North Delta for this important and timely topic of discussion. The Forum will examine the reasons why children bully their peers and the effects of bullying on a child’s mental health. “I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU”
SPEAKER’S INCLUDE: NASIMA NASTOH — Who has carried on after her son took his life at age 14 after being bullied at school. Nasima has become an outspoken advocate against bullying and the founder of “Hamed Nastoh’s Anti-Bullying Coalition” CINDI SEDDON — Author and Co-Founder of Coquitlam’s “Bully Beware” Program. Cindi has co-authored two books on the subject, and has been interviewed many times on national TV and radio talk show programs. Cindi’s expertise on bullying is both research and practically based. RAVI KAHLON — Canadian Field Hockey Team Olympian and 3x Canadian National Team member ROB RAI — Youth Diversity School Liasion will make a presentation on cyber-bullying
