PURPOSE OF MINISTRY

Create awareness amongst Christians on marketplace theology apologetics and biblical perspectives on contemporary issues especially in Malaysia IMMEDIATE GOALS

1) Inform church members on contemporary issues encountered in the marketplace 2) Organize 6 face to face forums this year LONG TERM GOALS

1) The Agora blog would become a reliable information source for Msian Christians 2) Marketplace ministry that provides resources for church members to renew culture 14

1) Forum on Arts/Culture featuring Ian Brubaker and Chee Siong 2) Forum on Racial Reconciliation in Malaysia by Peter Rowan 3) F Forum on S Science/Faith i /F ith with ith "Unlocking "U l ki th the mysteries t i off Life" Lif " video id 4) Formal/informal Conversation groups on Christian faith with seekers and skeptics 5) Camp speaking engagement with Ripples in March 09 6) Encourage reading/book borrowing in church library 7) Collaborate with Kairos by Jointly organising forums, write articles and open up resource center 8) Translate articles in bahasa Malaysia for Gospel Translation online project 9) Blog/online forum to grow to 100 visitors per day and 380 members 10) Provide resource for other ministries like college/student ministry and Labu 11)) Organise g movie nights g to encourage g engagement g g with p popular p culture and arts 12)Forum on Israel Palestinian conflict/Christian Zionism featuring Ng Kam Weng etc 15
