This lesson helped me calculate the simple interest in problems. Simple interest is the product of the principle, the annual interest rate, and the time in years. In previous years, I had not solved problems on simple interest, so this lesson was new to me. I learned to solve simple interest problems pretty quickly, even though I was just introduced to it. This lesson prepared me for solving simple interest ahead of time, before I do them while I’m an adult.
