IN OLD CABALAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL S.Y. 2018 – 2019 TOPIC This is a study that will discuss about the inability of junior high school students to speak in English. This will determine the factors that affect their speaking skills and therefore be addressed accordingly. More people around the world than ever before are studying and learning English because it has become the international language of education and business. Unfortunately, in the Philippines, speaking English among junior high school students is by far ignored. It is said that they use English more frequent only inside the class and less frequent outside the class. Whereas, students’ have limited time to learn English in class, and they still do not have enough encouragement to practice English outside the class in order to get familiar with English. This case brings a problem that make junior high school students have difficulties to communicate in English. This article will analyze the causes that make the students difficult to communicate in English and suggest some solutions that can overcome the difficulties. RESEARCH QUESTION This study aims to know the factors affecting the inability of Junior high school students in Old Cabalan Integrated School. Specifically, this study intends to answer the question:
What are the factors that affect their ability to speak English?
