Narrowboat Legacy
This boat is of exceptional quality and condition - it is of a standard that only a few builders achieve today. The shell is by Gary Gorton, a builder known for his attention to detail and elegant fine josher style bows. The interior by Warwickshire Narrowboats displays joinery of the highest standard combining a traditionally scumbled and decorated boatman’s cabin and engine room with a modern interior carefully planned to maximise storage. The specification is spectacular - an impressive looking and sounding Russell Newbery DM2 twin cylinder diesel, a Lister Petter cocooned 4kVA diesel generator, 1.2kVA Victron inverter, Victron 3 stage marine charger, Mastervolt transformer. Full size Bosch washing machine, drier unit in dedicated utility room, Webasto central heating and boatman’s solid fuel range. The boat was professionally repainted in 2002 and the hull grit blasted and treated with twin pack epoxy coating.
