Dutch Tjalk Ebenhaezer

Ebenhaezer is the classic bluff

bowed Dutch tjalk shape, built in 1908. The hull is fabricated with rivetted iron (an excellent material in water) and has been substantially overplated in steel. The superstructure was added at a much later date and was fitted out by the owner. The present owner has made a large number of improvements to make this an attractive, spacious and comfortable live aboard craft. At 69ft the vessel would also be ideal for cruising the continental waterways. Currently with 3 berths in two separate cabins this could be increased to 6 with a sofa bed in the saloon an a double in the aft cabin. The boat is fully equipped for long term cruising independent of shore supply. There is a 3.5kVA petrol generator and a 1.6kW inverter. There is the possibility of a nonresidential mooring available by separate negotiation
