March 2, 2009 - SPECIAL MEETING Council President Wollert called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm and read the Open Public Meetings Statement: The notice requirements provided for in the “Open Public Meetings Act” have been satisfied. Notice of this meeting was properly given in a notice which was transmitted to the Times of Trenton and the Trentonian, filed with the Clerk of the Township of Ewing and posted in the Ewing Township Municipal Complex, all on the 26th day of February, 2009. ORDINANCE FOR INTRODUCTION AND FIRST READING 1. The Clerk read (Ordinance #09-06) AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OLDEN AVENUE REDEVELOPMENT PLAN Mr. Charles Latini presented Council with additional information supporting his previous comments about the revised plan, and answered questions from Mr. Summiel and other Council members. It was also agreed that there would be a letter sent out advising all business owners within the Redevelopment District in advance of the Planning Board meeting. Mr. Steinmann then moved the Ordinance, seconded by Mr. Murphy. ROLL CALL

STATEMENTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC Mr. Bud Gough (Gough Engraving, 1745 N. Olden Ave.) asked that a letter to business owners was a good idea and that an informal meeting at the Prospect Heights Fire House, or another site, might be appropriate. There being no further business, President Wollert called for a motion to adjourn. Mr. Steinmann so moved, seconded by Mr. Murphy. The meeting was adjourned at 6:56 pm.
