Ensure that the steerer tube is clean and free of burrs or chips. Install the stem steerer clamp ① to fork and tighten M5 steerer fixing bolts ③ to a torque of 60 kgf.cm / 6 Nm / 53 in.lbs. Note: Alternately tighten the M5 fixing bolts so both bolts reach recommended torque simultaneously. Ensure that bolt threads have a light layer of grease.

Loosen M7 adjustable pivot bolt ④ counter-clockwise to allow the stem main body ② to adjust up and down (-20°, +40°). After reaching to your desired position, tighten pivot bolt ④ to a torque of 170-180 kgf.cm / 17-18 Nm / 150-159 in.lbs.

Place the handlebar between the stem main body ② and stem face plate ⑤. Tighten M5 face plate fixing bolts ⑥ to a torque of 60 kgf.cm / 6 Nm / 53 in.lbs. Note: Gradually and evenly tighten the M5 face plate fixing bolts in a diagonal pattern so all bolts reach recommended torque simultaneously. Ensure that bolt threads have a light layer of grease.
