Wheat Mini-Panel Spectrum Stained Glass Project Series by Carolyn Kyle ®
For this little panel we used 337-2s (Lt. Blue Opal) for glass A, 315-02s (Pale Amber Opal) for glass B, and 110.8W (Med. Amber Waterglass®) for glass C. Each one takes only 1/4 sq. ft. Other blues, yellows, and ambers would do nicely. Experiment! CONSTRUCTION Cut glass and assemble, using copper foil technique. Surround outside border with #20 copper wire or with narrow U Channel lead. For wheat whiskers, cut pieces of #16 copper wire the length of each whisker and bend to shape as accurately as possible. Tack in place at tip of wheat kernel and wherever it crosses the outside edge or touches another solder line.
