Sunday, July 26, AM Service: Congregational Vote

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I get a “little” impatient when I am waiting for something. Waiting is hard for me. When I pray for patience, I want God to give it to me right now! I know that you have been patiently waiting for your new pastor for some time now, and finally, it looks like you will get to meet the candidate on Wednesday, July 22nd. And then you will get to vote on Sunday AM, the 26th of July. The Search Committee and the Church Board have been waiting on the Lord in prayer for just the right person for this church. I believe they have found God’s man for DFC. Continue to “wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14. He is more concerned about DFC than you or I could ever be. Patiently waiting, Pastor Bob Official Notification: Next Sunday, July 26th, during the morning service, we will vote on a candidate for the Senior Pastor position. Per the Nazarene Manual, “Only those persons who are active members and have reached their 15th birthday shall be entitled to vote in church meetings. There is no provision for absentee voting in church meetings.”

Lord, thank you for your promises for us now. “I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.” Psalm 27:13

Exodus 4-6
