Even with that being said, the story from 1st period was the great goal tending by Ronaldo Reyes. He blocked shots left and right. Ronaldo is not afraid to sacrifice his body for the benefit of the team. He will do whatever it takes to get the job done. Excellent work Ronaldo!
Yellow vs. Red! Lets get it on. Joesph Buzzanca started things off with some crafty dribbling of his own. He was seen weaving in and out of defenders helping his team advance the ball. The left-footed Jorge Silva blasted one shot straight to the back of the net to help the red team take the victory.
Vivian on the penalty kick. Vivan Torres picked up 2 goals during play to help lead the yellow team to a few wins during 2nd period. Both Emoni Williams and Eunice Geronimo showed off their talent at goalie. Lisa Garcia marched all the way down the field, then scored a goal, only to be called back for a handball. Needless to say, Lisa was not happy.
Luis and Jorge getting ready for our Dance Unit. Oscar Maldonado showing off the skills.

Some of the ladies from 4th period have some soccer experience. It is obvious. Rahwa Contreras makes a great player and coach for whatever team she is on. Denae Tillery and Leila Villacorta help their teams with their speed, ball control, and overall athletic ability.
Tea and Rahwa set to square off as Linda looks on. And who could forget Ingrid Melendez, who has a great shot. It is quick and powerful. But as good as Ingrid’s shot is, on Tuesday it was no match for goalie Kameshia Tolliver. In the blink of an eye, Ingrid shot the ball to the lower left-hand corner of the goal. Kameshia spotted the ball, turned her foot sideways, and made a ridiculous kick save that kept her team in the game. This was clearly the save of the day! The rest of the girl’s in 4th period did a wonderful job throughout their soccer unit. Hopefully, many will continue to play after school.
