Winter 2019 Life Group – Week 8 Series: Sermon: t = E> Date: 3/31
1. Activity: 10 and you’re out Have the participants stand up and form a circle. Object is to be the last one standing. Start by counting up to 3 numbers. Players take turns counting numbers in order until someone has to say 10 and then they’re out. Example: Player 1: “1,2,3” Player 2: “4,5” Player 3: “6,7,8” Player 4: “9” Player 5: “10” (then sits down since they are out) Play continues with the next player, until only 1 person is left 2.Take a Group / Creative Picture 3.Share: Tell the group about a time in your life you felt the love of God. 4.Sermon Review: For Leaders or Co-Leader: Give 60 second sermon review & then ask these questions: ~ read 1 John 3:1 ~ Why do you think we should study God’s love for His children? ~ What are some ways we run from God? ~ Why do you think that we struggle to understand God’s love? Why do you think God doesn’t stop loving us even when we mess up?
~ read 1 John 4:18, How do you explain perfect love? 5.Prayer: Does anyone have a prayer request? Pray for evangelism culture at New Life. For us to have passion for the lost.
