(L) REV. STEPHEN HANDY SPEAKS TO TEENAGERS; (R) EXAMPLE OF PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL USED TO HELP GET THE COMMUNITY BEHIND WHAT GOD IS DOING HERE AT MCKENDREE
Rev. Stephen Handy comes to McKendree On Sunday, June 28 Rev. Stephen Handy will be taking on a new challenge – becoming the senior pastor at McKendree United Methodist Church! Rev. Handy is a gifted communicator who is passionate about helping people understand the
necessity of a relationship with Jesus Christ. He believes that “spreading the gospel” and “equipping the saints for the ministry of Jesus Christ” need to be reclaimed within the body of Christ. He has a contagious love for all of God’s people regardless of color, creed, or
circumstances. Rev. Handy believes “God is doing a new thing” (Isaiah 43:19) and that WE are the new thing. We especially look forward to meeting his wife Shelley and their three children, Detra Janay, Stephen Emanuel Jr. and Noah James.
