JOURNAL 1 (Carlyn Sproston, 2008) Students of year 8 English Class in Secondary College in Victoria, Australia. (College student)

The observer of the study (the author ) has used Boomer’s process to his study process For the first process (Planning)- the observer gather the information from the literature review to gain an information about the student and the study it self. In the second step, the students and teacher was negotiated with the audience for the task Third process, students were presenting of work to the audience and proceeds to 4th process where the teacher will respond to the students then continued with the evaluation of the study through reflection

JOURNAL 2 (Anjum Halai,2004 ) SAMPLE In-service teacher in education programmed of advance diploma in education: mathematics, The Aga University for Education Development (AKU-IED), Karachi, Pakistan. ( In- service teacher) PROCEDURES This study was designed as ' nested action research' which is multiple action research studies were woven into fabric of advance diploma programmed. The process involved in this study were: Planning - identifying the teaching of innovative strategies and classroom implementation and thus designed the study. Act - Work involved providing field support, teaching in classroom, test the context appropriateness of the strategies Review - review of work done

JOURNAL 3 (Karen Edwards,2008) The student in the fifth hour ninth- grade English class -16 students in class which is 11 boys and 5 girls ( Students in school)

The action research study in this journal just used a simple commonly used prosess which were: Planning - discussion with classroom teachers to determine the phonics lessons period and thus designed the research Act - Explain to the student in class about the study and start the plan Review Share and discuss with the students and teachers about the result and encourage the useful idea of technique intervention.

This journal were differs with other two journal selected because the process used in the study of this journal was pcocess from the Boomers, 1992 model, which including the element of 1)Planning 2)Negotiating 3)Teaching and learning 4) Presenting 5) Evaluating The data was collected through: Classroom questionares gives students opportunity to respond anonymously Classroom meeting- Used to negotiation of classroom activities Journals - Teacher research journal used to record classroom activities Partnership observation classroom observer Interviews - Used to discuss student responses with parents

COLLECTING DATA The data was collected from the activities such as: Classroom observationwas done over a period of 1 year for every month during the teacher lesson (small tape recorder has been used) Pre-Observation conference and postobservation with the teacher - teacher share input and the information about the strategy used in their lesson (Taking note) Tutor-researcher meetings- about 20 meeting averaging 90 minutes were done and the discussion was recorded by using tape recorder.

Data was collected in two measured which is three time spot for each, such as: 1st: Raw score 2nd: Reading grade level (stated in years and month) The observer ,interview the students by one-one interview (to observe a reading attitude of students)

Data was analyzed using a thematic approach (Knight 2002;Taylor and Bogdan 1998; Van Maren 1990) Classroom questionnaires was collected manually and pie chart has been generated using Microsoft Excel All guided and conversational interviews were transcribed Partnership observation was constructed by categories to summaries the statements.

ANALYZING DATA For the analysis of data, the discussion and the meeting with the members of the research team has been done regularly to discuss their findings.

For the data analysis The Slosson Oral Reading Test (SORT) was used as the assessment tool to monitor any progress. Analysis of the areas of need was identify from the SORT based on the question given The SORT also was used to determine baseline data on each students
