Objectives: To participate in the dances and display the character and style of the music as they execute the movement. To demonstrate the ability to lead and be led in partner dances. Acquire the confidence in leading and security in following. To apply and demonstrate critical and creative thinking skills in the dance. To make connection between dance and healthy living. To identify and perform the following elements of each dance: 1. Footwork- feet connection with the floor 2. Poise- the body position while moving on the dance floor 3. Posture- condition of the upper part of the body 4. Hold- frame work when dancing in pairs 5. Timing of the dance- counting to the beats
