The participants of the said capability building are all personnel of Remedios Elementary School. Its objectives are the following: A. Increase the awareness of rights-bearers on violence against women and children and to augment the efforts of duty bearers in eliminating genderbased violence. B. Increase commitment of rights-holders in eliminating violence against women and children. C. Forge partnerships among stakeholders in addressing VAWC.

TRAINING DESIGN I. TITLE: SCHOOL CAPABILITY BUILDING ON THE CAMPAIGN TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CHILDREN II. PROPONENT: CAROLYN M. MAGPAYO III. DATE/VENUE: April 25-26, 2019/Sasmuan Elementary School IV. RATIONALE: Pursuant to the Republic Act (RA) No. 10398 dated March 19, 2013 entitled “Declaring November 25, of every year as National Consciousness Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Children (VAWC)” and the DepEd Memorandum No. 111 s. 2014 and with hidden, growing and seemingly invincible trend of the violence of women and children cases in the locality, all agencies shall take role/s in addressing and controlling such alarming issue. There is no other way for us educators of Remediios Elementary School, Sasmuan, District but to move forward systematically and collaboratively to eliminate violence against women and children. Through the School Capability Building on the Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Children, advocacy, basic information on the cases of violence will be provided among School Personnel. V. OBJECTIVES: A. Increase the awareness of rights-bearers on violence against women and children and to augment the efforts of duty bearers in eliminating genderbased violence. B. Increase commitment of rights-holders in eliminating violence against women and children. C. Forge partnerships among stakeholders in addressing VAWC.

Expenses: Daily Subsistence Allowance of 10 participants At P600.00 per pax of 2 days Chargeable against school GAD funds.
