Tony And Kenny Announcement

April 15, 2009 Dear Richard Winn Family, On behalf of the RWA Head of School Search Committee and the RWA Board of Directors, I am very pleased to announce that Tony Caulder and Kenny Atkerson will be Co Heads of School for the 2009-2010 school year. The Search Committee conducted 10 interviews during the search process. Each of the candidates was highly qualified and had many positive attributes to offer Richard Winn. However, the Search Committee unanimously agreed that none of the candidates could offer our school more than what we already have with Mr. Caulder and Mr. Atkerson. The Board of Directors approved the Search Committee’s proposal to hire Mr. Caulder and Mr. Atkerson and they both have graciously accepted our offer. This has been a very successful school year and we have made significant progress under the leadership of these two gentlemen. When I walked through the halls on the first day of school this year, there was a palpable feeling of excitement in the air. That feeling has continued throughout this year and it most definitely can be attributed to Tony & Kenny’s leadership. The Search Committee and the Board of Directors have the utmost confidence in their ability to lead and move our school in a positive direction. I would like to express our appreciation to them for their willingness to give of their time and talents to Richard Winn.
