The Truth Behind the Christmas Tree Tradition And the Santa Claus Myth By Jerry Vano Oct. 29, 09 Most of us believe that the tradition of the Christmas tree started in Europe in the 16 century and in Germany in particular. The same goes with the myth of Santa Claus. Where did the root of the myth come from, and why? All myths are initiated with a reasonable foundation. However, the foundations of the myths are usually hidden in a fantasy that is why the message in a myth is not consciously paid attention to. The best way to keep alive a message or warning that is to be propagated through the ages, is in our collective sub-conscious mind through myths, and to make them appeal to the children. This can be seen in the different nursery rhymes. When looking for secrets of the past, certain people with a tuned ear can hear the root of the myth through a special gift of insight. Today many people have this gift and are bringing out the hidden truths of the past. Why is it any different today than through the past ages? I believe that the reason these myths and rhymes seem to resonate to our understanding now, is because we are approaching the end of the age. Jesus said: “you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free. All mystical truths will be uncovered and also I will be back at the end of the age when you know yourself as you are known.” He meant this Piscean age and we are at the end of it now. The book of Revelation of the bible speaks of the end time and in particular about an apocalyptic end time. It is warning us, I believe, about a pole shift that will happen in the year 2012. I show this in detail in my book “The Uncovering of the greatest story never told.” I show how most all myths and nursery rhymes when they are mystically deciphered show that there is coming an apocalyptic pole shift. I believe in what follows you will see that the Christmas tree tradition and the Santa Claus myth will be no different and will show the coming pole shift also. However, I believe that in this particular tradition and myth, there is some other very important information to be revealed to help people survive through the coming shift. The original Christmas tree was a pyramidal shaped tree with a star on the top. It also had lit candles through out the branches symbolizing stars. This tree is emulating an event that will happen in the year 2012. On Christmas Eve in that year there will be an alignment with the belt star in the constellation of Orion with the great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt. One of the reasons the Pyramid was built was as a marker to pinpoint this event. As we move through the signs of the Zodiac due to the 25920 year precession the constellation of Orion rises above the horizon. You see this in the drawing of figure 1. Notice that it’s lowest point above the horizon is at the year 10500 B.C. and continues to rise until Christmas Eve in the year 2012. At this time a certain belt star will line up precisely with the top of the Giza Pyramid. The tradition of the Christmas tree is in remembrance of this coming event. The tradition of sitting around the tree, burning a Yule log in anticipation of Santa Claus coming down the chimney with presents on Christmas Eve is steeped in deep tradition, for very important reasons. In mythology these events symbolize what will happen in the heavens and 1

on earth that night. First, the constellation of Orion is symbolizing Santa coming down the chimney because on this night the up ward motion stops and reverses to a down ward motion giving us the symbolism of Santa coming down the chimney. This reversing event will cause the devastating pole shift. Second, the burning of the Yule log symbolizes the Djed pillar (polar axis) as a tree (tree of life) which is the Egyptian depiction of Osiris as the stability of the pole of the earth which will be compromised or shifted that night. Third, sitting around the tree that night is telling us that the safest place on earth is at the location of the Giza Pyramid. This is because the fulcrum point or pivoting point of the pole shifting is there and this is the point of least motion. I wouldn’t be surprised if it will be found that there is a vast underground tunneling below or near the Pyramids made for us by the ancients for this reason. The presents Santa will bring that night is the assurance of the good things associated with the following golden age of peace and good will toward men.
