The Imperative There are three forms of the imperativetu, nous, and vous Rules 1. When you tell someone to do something, object pronouns are placed after the verb and linked to it by hyphens e.g. assieds-toi allons-y parlez-moi The pronouns me and te change to moi and toi when they are used after the verb
