Learning Outcomes: Construct a parabola Comprehend the question being asked of them in the question assigned at start of class Improve on previous attempts at the parabola especially the freehand curvature of parabola
The Lesson: Learning outcomes discussed (2 min) (O) PowerPoint slideshow on the parabola in real life as recap on previous lesson (3 min) (L,O,G,GI) Question 3 assigned to students (2 min) (O, G, L, MA, GI) Students complete question assigned to them linking previous knowledge of the parabola when completing the question. Students also add colour and step by step guides on how to complete a parabola from start to finish (23 min) (G,O,MA,GI) Students complete question 4 without the aid of the teacher. The teacher acts as a facilitator at this moment in allowing the students to complete the question on their own.
