SAFETY POLICY “Our strong determination towards developing and implementing Accident Prevention Program and management leadership do make a difference!” At Technocon Associates, we believe that the prevention of accidents is both our moral obligation and good business. Our safety efforts are based on our belief that every working person is entitled to a safe and healthful place to work. The responsibility for the health and safety of our employees goes far beyond simple compliance with the federal and state regulatory requirements. We recognize that the protection of our employees, property, the public and the environment are essential to the efficient and successful completion of every construction project we undertake. Safety is more than a priority at our company, here safety is a value. The Accident Prevention Program and Policies that include formal safety training, inspections, audits and a formalized system of reporting is continuously upgraded through reviews and joint meetings with all the concerned staff. We recognize that accident prevention is a line management responsibility. That responsibility is shared at every level of our organization, from the partners all the way through to our craft work force. We educate our Managers, supervisors and employees to identify and correct unsafe conditions and more importantly unsafe work practices. Our management administers our accident prevention at project level, with the support of part time safety manager reporting directly to the head office. We believe know that our accident prevention efforts must have the same value as quality, morale, cost, schedule, and production. Safety is not something we do in addition to the work; we are making it the way we do our work. We recognize that accidents should be unusual events and that most of them are preventable. Our goal continues to be ZERO ACCIDENTS.

Keeping in view our mission and vision we are invariably going through the process of developing and implementing systems, which enable us to accomplish our objectives. The focus of our system revolves around adherence to specifications, supervising staff or supervising Consultants requirements. The emphasis of our system evolution process also circumambulates around good financial management of the company, which is extremely critical to achieving our client’s satisfaction. While enrooting to become a good quality company we have worked on developing procedures that inter connect our material requisition work orders with project schedule, available/projected cash flows. We have also worked on making supervision objective to our supervising staff, so as to reduce the element of subjectivity in supervision and make it objective to them. The objectivity in supervision is achieved by highlighting critical objects and making standard operating procedures for each activity which focus on attaining quality, at the beginning of every project. The purpose of this exercise is to attain zero punch lists at the end of the project. Our procedures also focus around increasing participation of our employees and staff in attaining quality. We keep making sure the adaptability of our procedures to varied environments of different clients. Before the start of every project we go through the exercise of aligning our systems with that of our employer’s so as to achieve maximum client satisfaction. Avoiding working in orthodox manner we keep ourselves equipped with the most recent technologies and software. We also keep our staff aware of these changes and other prevailing changes in construction industry. All this is done to achieve better results in client satisfaction.
