Kate -CLASS entries cannot be edited at overseas posts. They just enter a new one with corrected or updated information and then, if they have time, ask the Department to remove incorrect entries. We can edit CLASS entries back here. Dates of entries are auto-generated but we do have the capability to enter an alternate date, if the refusal was done on a date different from the date the entry is made. --RCB Original Message— From: Katherine Brentzel [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, March 28, 2003 11:22 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Quick question

Richard, I have a few quick questions about inputting CLASS lookouts. Is it possible to alter or edit a CLASS entry that has been made on an earlier date? For example, if you created a CLASS lookout for an individual on March 1 but then on March 15 you realized that you had entered his DOB incorrectly, would you go back in and edit that previous entry? Or would you create a whole new lookout with the correct DOB? Is the date on a CLASS entry auto-generated?If so, does it reflect the original date that the lookout was made or does it reflect the last time it was edited?
